Bdy, Givi has a tall windscreen that works on the X500. Here is a link.  Works well, keeps the wind, rain and bugs off makes a comfy ride.  Unless you are real tall you will be looking through it.

My '07 X500 has the Kymco tall windscreen which is fine for winters here in central Texas.

I or we, have a heat problem. I want to install one of the tinted sport models from an ;08 or '09, so I can have some airflow.

there is the backrest mod that is available from rvtoys.net. Jac Vinson.  I called him the other day and he said that Kymco USA is going to buy all of them and put them on their accessory page. 89usd

Thanks for the offer, but I want to keep the stock touring model and add the sport for summer. I do like the tall one for winter, here, which are milder than up north where riders like the Givi touring model.

I check at my dealer and the sport will be about$100.
