WOLO horn install on downtown
« on: March 20, 2013, 03:45:23 AM »
I pick up a wolo horn at harbor freight,it warmed up enough to install the horn the other day  before this snow storm that is ongoing, I removed the front clip to see what I could do,. ended up it bolted in no trouble ,.  on the same bar as original,. just below it is a good spot to bolt it on, removed the hang down bar from original spot and used the bar to off set horn and it fits perfectly,.   it seems to be twice as loud,. I used the same wiring off the old horn just plug it on,. I have a over sized battery, so other scoots may have to run a wire from the battery,. to get enough power to the horn,.

Is this Wolo about the same thing as the Stebel that sounds like an airhorn on a truck? How much at HF?
