I have now driven with the Biondi for several days and some miles and have some disturbing comments. Although the protection size and appearance is perfect the shield dangerously distorts images that come up within 3-8 feet of the scooter. There is a wind deflection curve at the top of the screen. When looking far and forward, you see above the screen but when negotiating close objects you are forced to look lower and through the curved section. When your line of sight is transitioned through this plastic angle the view is blurred and distorted when compared to the flatter surface below the curve or above the shield. This is clearly a design flaw.
This irregularity is a dealbreaker for me. I drive in the city and am constantly scanning high and low as i weave through stationary and moving objects. As a result, I have ordered the Givi but it won't be in for a month. I have used the Givi on other scooters and their optics are far better. My plan is to cut it down to the same height as the Biondi so I can avoid the leveraged weakness and cracking others have reported. For now I'm careful how I look through this screen.
