I'll second the underwear thing.  By the way, rode home in the rain yesterday....damn weatherman said slight chance of sprinkles, not 100% probability of downpours.  Anyway, my daughter had borrowed my rain suit and had not returned it, as I found out...once I was at work.  Not too bad tho....my gear kept me relatively dry...worse part was sitting on the wet seat.  I did go slow, especially around the turns, and received a lot of sympathy from my wife...so all turned out well.

In the rain your braking distance doubles so leave more space from the car in front. Also slow down at bends more and lean in less, especially if you dont have good wet weather tyres on and are still on stock ones.

I always carry wet gear in my bag but never pull over to put it on if i already am on the road. If it looks like it may rain then i wear it before i leave, if it doesnt then i dont, if i dont have it on and it suddenly rains then i get wet but hey, my skin is waterproof so im ok  ;D

glad to hear I am not the only one like that. I always think, it will just be a light sprinkle that will dry off fast. It seems if I stop and put on the rain gear the rain stops. 8)

Am I the only big wussy out there that not only hates the rain because of the conditions...  but... the rain hurts my face...  I know it's water, but it hurts...  LOL

Of course it hurts! I had a tinted visor before and I had to flip it up when it rains because I can't see... rain really hurts, but I got a clear one so I can close the visor and see good.... ;D
