My dealer got me a new underbelly under warranty because I realized mine was cracked. It was quick and painless.

My dealer is very high on Kymco. They have sold around 10 kymco scooters in the last couple of months. They just got in 5 more and have more on order. Obviously they have a very good working relationship with Kymco USA.

There are around 675 Kymco dealers in the USA. I would say most are happy with their franchise. Don't see that many negative responses on the net.

Well, you folx should do what your experiences tell you is right to do, just as I am. And again, no more Kymco for me.

It's not just that KymcoUSA pulled out of Nashville's "Best Place to Buy a Scooter," but the yearly head gasket issues with my People 250, and KymcoUSA's refusal to pay the shop for the initial warranty repair on the issue (which the shop covered -- on a bike not even BOUGHT from them!).

Nope. Y'all buy what you want, but my next one's a Genuine, or a Honda.

Ok....That's fine! Buy a Genuine scooter when they decide to get a 250cc+ scoot in the US. I have no problem with that @ all. Genuine makes a damn fine scoot, no question.

It's funny...My local dealer (Cyles 128 in Beverly, MA.) took on Kymco one year after they came to into the US market. The owner loves KYMCO! Please keep in mind that he owns 4 motorcycle/scooter & Yamaha marine dealers within the Boston area. I'm fairly tight with him & he said that Genuine, SYM & others came calling & he had to say no to all of them. He said...."Alex Kymco has a 90%-95% fill rate on parts & we have very few issues with their product"

I don't know why your dealer had issues with Kymco, but if you're not a "Kymco" person @ this point.....move on & leave these forums.

I live in Chicago and have heard nothing but good things about Genuine, however I still am hoping to pick up a 300GTI early next spring.  I may even buy the gold!

In my opinion, that scooter and that color is looking odd, i like the black color bikes more and more. Today these color bikes are becoming more popular and try to change the buy the best bike, which is looking more stylish.
