Weight capacity for B & W 250...anybody know???
« on: April 25, 2014, 02:41:45 AM »
Can't locate the weight capacity for a KYMCO Bet & Win 250, anybody know that on here?  If so, please post it and maybe the source also.  It might be in a service manual, if someone has one.  It's not listed in the owner manual, however.  THANKS!
I may be slower uphill, but I'm quicker at the gas pump!

I know, right?  I sent Kymco USA an email about this, so hopefully they will provide the info.  One would think this info would be labeled on the scooter somewhere, but I didn't see the info anywhere.

Lets weight ;), and see who crashes, and make the average = maximum load. All in favor?

I got an email from KYMCO USA this morning and they informed me that the "max weight load capacity for ALL Kymco's is 335 lbs."  There you have it, according to them.  Take it for what it's worth.

Generally - I get down and read the label near the front of most scooters - bike weight subtracted from capacity = what it can carry.
A few examples of carrying capacities .
2004 Suzuki Burgman 650-- 392 LBS
2004 Suzuki DL 650--453.5 LBS
2005 BMW R1200RT--446 LBS
KTM 950 SM--427 LBS
2006 Kawasaki KLR650--385 LBS
2006 ZX1400 Ninja -- 392.5 LBS
2006 Hnda CBR1000RR--371.5 LBS
2005 MZ1000S--424.5 LBS
2005 Harley-Davidson Sporster 883L--374 LBS
2005 BMW K1200LT--463 LBS
2004 Honda GL 1800A Gold Wing--422 LBS
2004 Kawasaki Vulcan 2000--408 LBS
2004 Moto Guzzi Breva V750ie--443.5 LBS
2004 Yamaha Royal Star RS Midnight Venture--285 LBS (not a typo)
2004 Kawasaki Ninjs 500--391 LBS
2006 Harley-Davidson VRSCR Street Rod--424 LBS
2006 H-D FXWGL Dyna Wide Glide--408 LBS
Makes me wonder about all those big bikes with the pair of large folks riding by me.
