I had a black & tan people 150. I wanted to paint a tan stripe on my shad topcase to match. I went to home depot and bought a quart of exterior gloss enamel and they were able to get a perfect match for me.  You need a fairly flat piece of something with the color you want to match so they can use their machine to get a exact match. They put it under some kind of scope to get the right match. I had the upper handlebar cover off to modify the front signals so I used that. I believe a auto paint supply shop can also do it in a aerosal can if you would prefer spray paint.

Take a small panel into a woman's make up shop, show it to the girl on the nail varnish counter, she will match the colour. Pour your charm out and you might get yourself a date too
