it souds like a air nose like you would if you had a hole in the muffler.but not quite as bad.
it sounds like its comeing from back side of the bottom of the motor. but not sure hard to pin point.
soft sound at frist but then when I idel up it gets louder then at full thortle it quuets down.
the performance of the bike is great. but just dont wana ride it if it might make it worse.

Can you reproduce it with your scoot on the stand or does it just occur when the engine is under load?

Blue, was there a change in your idle speed due to the sound? like if you just let it idle does the speed of the idle go up at all?
if so it may be a loose vacuum line somewhere or perhaps the air intake hose is not tight enough on the carb. hopefully its somethin that easy.

also, reach under where the exaust meets the bike. you could have lost a nut off the exaust which will loosen up the exaust just enouh to hear a stupid noise, happens to me sometimes.
