« on: January 31, 2013, 12:40:25 AM »
replaced my air box with one of a newer gy6 scoot. had to do some mods to put it on but works good.I did notice the take off was a little slower and the top end was just a little longer geting there. But I like I can live iwth this............

..looks good blue!!...

..sounds like the airbox is a bit more restrictive than what you had...

..if you're running a lil rich, you will lose some take-off as well as top...

..still, running very safe...
..every mod (action) necessitates a (reaction) mod..

Absolutely

I have about 6 holes in my air box

Just take the cover off and drill a few 1/2" holes in the cover

Quite possibly the easiest and cheapest mod you can do
*2010 People 50 2t with 70cc kit and more
*2001 ZX-50 beater

I also drilled about 6-8 1/4" holes in my old airbox when i had it, worked fine. Just keep an eye on the jetting.
Chaos is my co-pilot.
