Just an "O" ring in a squiggley groove. As long as it seems round instead of flat it should work. Never replaced the one on the Yager and it never leaked.

On the downtown 300i the gasket is square and fits in a groove valve cover and head, cant go wrong,. just no yanky on rubber ,.
