What's it called in Italian?!
« on: April 19, 2013, 09:21:50 PM »
Hello, What is a cowl protector called in Italian.  I've been trying to search Italian eBay for these chrome bars that protect the scooter body and leg sheild - but danged if I can figure out what they might be called. Surely eBay.it must sell a lot of these trim bits for all their scooters. I'm looking to see if I can purchase the Italian version of the cowl protector, as seen here.

FYI: You know what they call scooters in Italy?: "Scooter",  took me an hour to discover this! Try searching other names for scooter on eBay.it and you get zip - search "scooter" and you get 154,000 items.

I see what you folks are talking about with the glare from the light on the Like 200i. First night drive last evening - I will get a little sliver of  chrome tape on the top of the light housing !

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Scooter cowl in Italian is "Motorino cappuccio," the exact English translation is Scooter Hood.
