Heated grips 500 xciting

Has anyone installed heated grips on their Kymco 500 xciting? Is it a tough job? In the low 40's  tonight, going to be getting cold soon.

Search this website for this subject.   A lot of discussion on ability of electrical system being heavy enough to support this option.
