What are the battery specs for the D.T 300

My DT only has 900 miles and 3 times the battery failed to start. The battery is a brand I don't know but it's not a Kymco. Is it supposed to be a Kymco and my dealer put a cheaper one, or do I just have bad luck?
Does anyone know the specs for the battery other than 12v?
Appreciate any help or suggestions, I'm taking bike to the dealer tomorrow.

Get the biggest that will fit your battery compartment... your scoot will love you for that...
In my Super 8, I had a 7amp... I switched to a 9amp... it's just around half an inch taller...

Do you ride your bike year round? Batteries like being fully charged. Wire up a Battery Tender Jr. if you store it in the off-season.
Are you sure the seat is securely latched when you park the bike? The seat light will slowly drain the battery if you don't latch the seat properly. The MET-IN light is a handy indicator on the dash.
Kymco bike batteries differ in the region that they're sold.

Today I went to the dealer the Battery is a "Parts Unlimited" they claim that the Kymco battery was dead so they used the one is supposed to be as good or better. I don't believe it, but on the way home from my 53 mile trek I stopped for gas and then the bike refused to start just turned over and over the 3 rd try the starter got stuck and would not stop even with key out of bike, Kill switch nothing worked till battery ran down. I had it towed back to the dealer and wait till they figure what the problem is.
As for the seat it is the one thing I always double check to make sure the light is off.

That's probably what they are going to do, but could have been avoided by replacing the battery like I wanted. They wanted me to leave the bike for several days to run test on battery.
They already said that starter relay getting stuck was probably a weak battery. I told them that the battery should be at least 10 amps, so I will see what they say later.
UPDATE: I got the bike back from the dealer. They replaced the battery and starter relay. Bike running fine now. They replaced the battery with another Parts Unlimited AGM battery.
I had email Kymco they said the only specs they had for the DT 300i was 12 Volt and 10 Amp for the battery.
KYMCO replied with this today:
Battery type is a YT12A-BS and specs are 12V 10AH.
So that everyone that owns a DT 300i now knows what battery to get, According to dealer you can also get a 14Amp the long as it is the same size.
