took my super 8 to the car wash
was very gentle with it.. on the trip home my headlights went out 2 times
both times if I went down to idle they would come back on
but once I started driving it again
they would go out
the remedy was turning off the bike and starting it again
wondering if this is a shorting issue?
after 2nd restart bike lights stayed on
is this a common issue with rain or wetness?

I had a similar problem once with my Super 8.... turned out it was a corroded light hi/low switch... maybe because it was brand new and sat on the dealer for a while... I just played with the switch hi-lo-hi-lo... and sprayed some WD40... after a while, it was O.k.   ;)

I shorted out a wire when changing a brake light... my headlights do this now too.  I am looking to bypass the electronic module so the lights stay on as I drive mostly at night atm.
I will ski till Hell freezes over... then I will have no fear of death.
