Parts shortage

I called my dealer today to find out the status of some back ordered parts (air cleaner element and valve cover gasket). They informed me the parts are still on back order and getting parts from Kymco parts distributors have been slow in coming even for maintenance parts. I contacted Kymco Parts Monster and they confirmed that parts are slow to come by. They can't even get a listing of back ordered parts. Shame on Kymco for not keeping up with the demands especially of maintenance parts.

I agree - let's hope it's a temp. thing.
I looked at the owner's manual when i brought my scoot home - reflected on the parts I might need over the next 2 yr of norm. servicing and placed an order with the parts folks. If things get critical for you, let me know - I bought a couple of each. I just bought a couple more things a few weeks ago - no problem then.

Thanks for the offer Stig much appreciated. As a backup I placed an order through Kymco Monster. They had all but one item (hub breather tube) and they will ship less the one back order on Monday. The parts coming from my dealer on back order will be stored as stock for future maintenance when it comes in. I'm ready to perform the 7000km service on the scooter and the back ordered parts from my dealer is delaying this. Since the online source have what I need I'll be able to proceed in about a week.
