All-weather tyres for the DT 300i abs

I was wondering if there was a good all-weather tyre to buy to replace my old tyres on my DT 300i abs. I was looking for tyres with better grip in all-weather. I found the tyres I have on now are not too safe/sturdy on dirt or wet roads. Can anybody recommend a tyre? I live in Australia, so if you know what is available to me here that would be great too. I basically want tyres that stick to the road better, but longevity is a plus too. Thanks

My scooter came with Kendra's and when it comes time to replace I will probably stick with them...darn good tire. But if I do go a different route then Michelins City Grips will be the choice...heard alot of good things about them.

Mich city grips are good,but i do not believe you can get the 120/80-14 in that size .if so i couldn't find it you can get the rear in the 150/70-13 ive always rode on the Pirelli Diablo Performance matter of fact just order the rear and the front from http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/ i go there to because they have free shipping on a certain amount changing my tires this weekend wish me luck lol.if you hear cussing from around jacksonville florida it is me .lol

I am currently riding on Pirelli Diablo tires.  They are okay. Good handling in all types of weather. I am on my 2nd Pirelli rear tire (installed 02/13). My 1st Pirelli rear tire (installed 06/12) lasted about 8000 Miles.  My 1st Pirelli front tire(installed 09/12) is at the replacement mark. It has about 12000 miles. 

I will be switching to Metzeler FeelFree tires in a couple of weeks.  Why am I switching? Just trying out some different tires. Read the Metzeler reviews and was impressed by the reviews.

On the front I have a kenda 120/80-14 M/C 58S, & the rear I have Pirelli Diablo scooter 150/70-13 M/C 64S. The back wheel it's seems to me slips around when on loose gravel which gives me a bit of a fright, maybe all tyres would have slipped on the same surface, I'm not sure. It just made me wonder whether the tyres I had on were the best for looser surfaces or when road conditions get hazardous. Food for thought. Does anybody else use these tyres? How do you rate them? Or have you had a scare like me on a loose road surface & thought I wonder if there's a better tyre available to save my skin in such a situation?

  on loose stones you will always slide so ride slow and safe,. untill you get with 4 wheels,.  a car

I know my Pirellis on my motorcycle are rounder for nimbler cornering, and the back wheel would shift side to side riding in loose gravel. Just go slowly and smoothly with the throttle.

You should think about the riding that you do. Will you be riding on loose gravel quite often? Tires are a compromise design. You can make them fantastic for on-road, but off-road may be impacted.

Yep, dry & loose anything on top a hard surface is also known as a lubricant! No tire of any compound or tread will help much when you place a lubricant between the tire and a hard surface! Water is a different story - tire compounds and tread do matter on water.
