Cheap tachometer for adjusting the idle speed?

Can anybody recommend a cheap tachometer for adjusting the idle speed? Unfortunately I already bought a digital multimeter with no Hz setting.
I was thinking of getting something like this:

The tach in your link will work fine for setting idle speed. The response time is the only real downside to that particular tach, which is not an issue when using to set idle, but not as effective for monitoring rpm while driving. Another option if you are looking to monitor more than idle speed is the tiny tach.

To really go all out check out Koso products. They have really nice instruments for scooters.

I have one of those cheap tachs and it worked fine for me to tune my scoots. I just never permanently install one and I can use it on things like my lawnmower and chainsaw.

I took a look at the tiny tach site and under Standard TT2A Gasoline Tiny-Tachâ„¢ it says it measures 2 spark per revolution up to 8 sparks per revolution.
Is that sufficient for 2t?

The specs for that one say "RPM reading adjustable from 1 spark per 2 revolutions to 8 sparks per revolution". It will work.
