Today I finally took my scooter for her 1st check up and oil change. I was really scared to do this because of some of the post I seen here showing what some dealers charged. I was in shock when I called my dealer and found out that they only charge for the oil change itself, everything else comes with it. I spent a grand total of $27.00 and damn happy about it.

Many dealers(like mine) include the first service in the price of the scooter minus fluids and new spark plug. There are a lot however that charge the regular hourly rate plus parts. So consider your self lucky to have a dealer who wants to keep your business.

My dealer IS 20 miles away and they will pick the scoot up and deliver it at NO CHARGE.

20 miles away.
That is $1 worth of my BP 93 octane.
My dealer charges $350 more than your dealer for that service!
I vacation in St Pete Beach, but my scoot is in Ohio....
But, you know, South West gives you 2 free bags and a carry-on....
Naw, my 13 yr old daughter would never let me try to get a scooter in the seat next to her.

Young lady ---- you should be dancing with a dealer like that! Good for you! (but, you know - if we were really smart consumers, we would have asked about the service costs before we bought our scooters!)

I inquired about a windshield while I was there he was currently out of stock. But does have an aftermarket one for about 75. bucks and will only charge me $10.00 to put it on.

Oh and I let him know I never received my $100.00 gift card from Kymco. He is gonna work on that for me too.

I got a windsheild for my Like as well.  I've ridden it with and without the windshield and have to say that the ride is much more relaxed with the windshield in place, but top speed does suffer by a couple of mph.  I can ride in 30 degree weather with the windshield in place and be comfortable whereas without it, I'm bitterly cold even with more clothes on!!

Maybe I should wait until the winter months to add the windshield. I don't want it to block all of the wind its still pretty hot here. I mostly want it so I am not sore after riding 60mph for an extended time.

Sounds like a good idea to me!
