windshield removal
« on: September 22, 2013, 02:09:51 PM »
Hello,  First this first = I can barely tell the difference between a hammer and a screwdriver. That being said, I would like to purchase a larger windshield for my 2009 Grandvista 250.  If you can help me I need to know, in detail, how I get the old one off and new one on !!  Your help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

There are two black Phillips screws that you need to remove from the driver's side, basically towards you, ant the end of the windshield in the black plastic at the very end.

Once they are removed your small painted cover over the headlight will come off.

Behind that there are four screws that hold the original windshield on that you need to remove.  Then you can pull and remove the original windshield.

Check out the forum thread of the WindStrom cold weather/touring windshield that I posted not too long ago.
