Engines Stalls - Please Help
« on: August 09, 2009, 10:53:41 PM »
My P250 has 29K km on the oddo and it started stalling regularly. Sometimes she'll start up fine, run about 5 miles and when I come to a traffic light she'll die. I've adjusted the idle speed multiple times, replaced the air cleaner, changed the gas, and put fuel treatment in the tank. Nothing has worked, and I just wanted to ask if anyone knew of any other solutions that a notive bike owner could do. Ultimately, I'm trying to avoid taking her to a shop as that would cost money I don't have. Thanks for the help.

Make sure all the vacuum lines and air intake hoses (on both sides of the carb) are connected and tight. If they are, look for cracks in the air intake.
