Who knows why Kymco does anything? They no longer sell the People50/150. It was probably their best selling model ever! The Yager is still sold in Canada as the Frost 200i so it's not really gone just rebadged. If you have not checked it out already see the road test at www.justgottascoot.com

2012 was the last year for the Frost (Yager) in Canada. Anything that's still available, is prior years' stock.

Is there factory defect on yager for the short run? or just poor sales?

Its kimd of a "specialty" scooter.
Like the Genuine Blur it seems that a small sports scooter just didn't sell well in the US. It's a shame as both are very cool, quick bikes.

My theory is that the Yager was stealing sales from the much more expensive People and Downtown 200 & 300.The Yager is the best bike I ever had, and I had several Kymcos! I have 22,000 miles on it and only recently had to to replace the belt and tires along with oil and filter changes. My mpg has gone up to75-80 and can do 70 mph when conditions are good despite weighing over 200 lbs.It has been as trouble free as any vehicle I have ever owned.I sometimes ride with a scooter gang with Goldwings , Burgmans, and Bimmers. As long as we stay off the interstate, they are always amazed, that I can keep up with them. ;D Good luck all you Yagermeisters out there ;D
