I own motorcycles, two of the best out there right now in my very, very humble opinion but for the last 12 years I have owned Maxi-scooters at the same time. WHY? FUN is the feeling I get when I ride my scooters to work (24 miles round trip) on beautiful country roads!

My Wing is for the 500-1,000 mile day.
My NT700 is for my 200 mile round trip breakfast and lunch rides.
MY 2013 Xciting 500 will be used for anything in between.***

*** We routinely do 150 mile trips on very small, paved roads that snake through farm country and normally stay at under 40 mph because of the roads and the fact that we always stop to take lots of pictures.

Scooters put a smile on my face every time I ride one. A $25,000 Goldwing doesn't quite do that for me.

9 scooters and counting but just the Xciting 500 now.

I own motorcycles
Sam:)
I had to look up a picture of a NT700.....Geez, that thing is beautiful ! What color is your's? Honda makes some of the best packages of 2 wheelers....have always thought so. My first 3 bikes were Hondas. I used to like to sit and wax them when not riding.
Pictures of your fleet?
Welcome ~!
Ride safe.

Stig, My NT700 is the red metallic with the factory matching topcase. I am the original owner and the bike only has less than 1,000 miles on it, has a new rear PR3 tire (Nail) and a new battery. It is Pristine, freshly serviced and ready to go. I have decided to sell the bike. If interested, PM me or email me at:

Porkie,
That bike is going to make some one a great ride - in the condition you describe!
Too much bike for me at my age - from here on out it is scooters, Scion xB's and the city bus!
Good luck with your sale....sorry to hear it has to go!

I've been riding motorcycles for over 33 years and scooters for over 3.  The scooter bug was planted in me around 25 years ago when I rented one in Hawaii.

I had a blast on that scooter.

I finally got one using the excuse that it would save on gas and wear and tear on my truck.  It turned out to be the most fun bike I have owned for around town riding.

I now have 2 motorcycles and 2 scooters.  They all have their advantages depending on what type of riding I want to do.

A recent pic of my Super 8 which now has 14.5K on it.

Very nice scoots!

Nice shot of Honolulu and Diamond Head too.

I love the Islands and have been there 4 times, on Oahu and Kona!

Could I get a owner's report on the People and the BV.
Interested in both scooters.
I had 3 Hondas before I went off to Vietnam a long time ago. Then went to the motorcycle shop with my 18 yr old son a few months ago ----to look at the bikes he was interested in - Saw the KYMCO LIKE 200i and bought it a few weeks later.
LONG time between 2-wheelers, and having a blast now!

Thanks to a hit and run 18-wheeler ( I in my truck, thankfully-not a car- or I wouldn't be here ) I had to have surgery on my left thumb and wrist and clutching is WAY TOO hard on it. Plus, I love the extra storage ability and I get a lot of Harley/other cruiser bikes stopping to ask me about my DT300i , then saying that their bike is getting to hard to ride as they age , and they may look into getting one like it ! :-*
