So I have a few questions about my "new to me" 08 Agility 125...

1)   I bought a carb jet kit with different size jets, any tutorial on how to switch jets? (I know its super easy but don't want to mess with the carb without being sure).

2)   I also just bought some Dr. Pulley 12g Sliding rollers and read in another thread that the torque spring might need to be replaced too? Any idea on what RPM Spring I should be looking for?

3)   I would like to buy an aftermarket cone air filter and elbow to replace the stock air box (I won't ride in rain). What size is the stock carb inlet or if someone can show me a link to one online. I see a lot of 42mm and such?

4)   I know this is a pretty stupid question but how can I tell what brand the stock tires are, I bought the scoot with 16,xxx km and imagine the tires would have been changed but how can I tell what the crappy stock ones are and if I need to replace or not? Tread depth?

Bump... Come on no one can answer one of these? I'm guessing the stock tires don't just say "Kymco" what brand is the stock tire?

Ok..I'll answer some... Agilities in our country uses Cheng tires.. very slippery on wet roads but long lasting... you can can change to better ones... You need to replace the tires if you see some cracks,, that means they have dried up and old, no matter how deep the treads are... As to the aftermarket cone filter, sorry I have tried those and really one rider can't avoid rain... It really sucks water and engine dies... You can just change to an aftermarket filter element... and lastly, as to the rollers and jets, sorry, mine's all stock... hope that helps...

Disclaimer: I dont have your bike.

1) Im guessing you have a diapragm carb, no idea what model. Typically entails you taking the carb bowl off the bottom of the carb and changing the jet. It helps to take the carb off the bike. I think this video will help


2) I changed my torque spring to 1500 rpm spring, that gets recommended alot if you want to have a "stronger, quicker" takeoff and maintain speed on hills

3) I have read it is only worth going to a cone filter if the CDI is derestricted. No idea on air inlet, you may have to measure that yourself

I did the dr pulley variator with 12 g sliders and 1500 clutch spring
The spring is important in keeping this variator in the power band and it has smooth acceleration right on through. How much do you weigh?
I also installed a 42mm polini cone filter, which was foam but covered by plastics to keep it relatively dry. I messed around with all types so jetting, but found the stock jetting to work the best. Once the weather turned a little colder, I was going to up jet the slow jet to 38 but my scooter got run over in the parking lot at work and was totaled.

In our country my stock agility tire is using a Kenda brand. But try to change it to a better one like a corsa or a better brand.
