Could be depending on the circumstance, but not the norm by any means. That particular picture could be a photo op for the article.

No Vivo, it's a mistake.
Police make them, soldiers make them, and sometimes civilians make them....especially when they're scared and angry.
This young policeman will be answering some tough questions from his supervisor.

Take it with a grain of salt.  After all, it is Alex Jones' website.

The gun is not pointed at his head! Look at the picture people. The photographer captured this particular angle for a reason. They want it to look like the officer is pointing the rifle at his head. He's not. The muzzle is actually pointed at the rear tire. Bunch of anti-gun BS. Now our police can't even be armed? Notice his finger is completely off the trigger. He has his firearm pointed in the safest direction possible considering this is a residential area. The officer is doing everything he was trained and ordered to do. Frankly I think it's completely appropriate after reading the article. How are we to assume the wanted person hadn't hijacked somebody's vehicle or even worse kidnapped someone. Come on guys, we're supposed to let a cop killer, (That's right! Even though they weren't killed, he still attempted to), roam free because people get freaked out over guns... Just my opinion here. I am 100 percent for law-abiding citizens owning firearms and professional officers, like the ones in the picture, doing their job.

IMO the photo looks like the gun is pointing directly at his head, that said I don't buy it. If a gun of any type were pointed at my head I'd be scared sh**less, this guy is relaxed. It could be photo shopped it could be real or an exercise for these cops.

Things within (I think) 100 miles of our baorders are getting bad these days and more then a few Americans have either exited or have an exit plan in place. Do you think my questions about the chit hiting the fan are just BS questions? I'll send you a PM.

Put some antlers on the guy in the black helmet and the CHP would be aiming that rifle at him here in Ohier.
Was talking to Virgil in the park the other day - the shooting I was hearing were duck hunters on the reservoir he said.....Also, deer season is "just 'round the corner" so he advised me to "keep that yeller jacket on" if I'm gonna be scootering 'round at dawn.

As Alan Arkin was advised by his brother-in-law...."Serpintine!!" when scooterin thru the deer grounds!
Geez, cagers - and now scooter huntin' is in season.

That was the first thing that caught my eye as well.  Deserved or not if a gun was pointed at my head I would not be so relaxed.  I'm going to call "Bullsh**" on this one!!!
