Losing 10-13MPG in the Cold
« on: November 26, 2013, 10:24:19 PM »
It is getting  cold in the US MidWest.
Needed 2 balaclavas....and after an hour I cheated by putting my gloves on the muffler.
It was 14 degrees (F) Saturday for my sunrise 'joy' ride.
Scoot is working fine - although I don't see how they do cold weather testing in Taiwan, but I am recording about 67 MPG now, vs @80MPG in warm weather. (idling the scoot longer now before taking off)
That is steam coming off the water - and the water is freezing cold!...and gloves cooking on the pipe!

Frost in the grass.

Normal is boring.
