Starter motor problems
« on: December 16, 2013, 01:51:35 PM »
Hi all, I have a problem with my kymco agility I cannot for the life of me get my starter motor to sit in the lug in engine flush. I removed it as wasn't catching when pressed button and ground a bit of & eventually broke one of the brackets off thinking that was stopping it from sitting flush but no joy and don't really want use bike until its secure or wedged in postion has anyone got any ideas? Buying a new starter is out of the question at mo from what I can see there's nothing hitting the motor/engine or stopping it. Any help appreciated

Yes will get some today sorry, I'd say its just a mill or 2mm sticking out but I took it out and found a tiny bit of white liquid thinking a gasket had gonei drained the oil and seemed clear? Could it be just moisture got in? Iv lent a motor off a 50 keeway moped touch wood will fit.. How do I know if my tires have legal tread mate without tool does the penny method work?
