Gulls are walking
« on: January 02, 2014, 10:04:17 PM »
At the boat ramp on New Year's day the gulls were walking on the water.
One fellow did launch his boat. When I passed him I gave him a salute on my horn. The only thing as goofy as a scooter rider in the cold - is a guy sitting in an open boat.
I did spot 3 guys sitting on upturned 5 gal white buckets at the marina a few miles away.
I'm gonna try that. Sit on a white bucket in a walk-in freezer for a few hours, staring at my feet. Looks like great fun.
Stig (snowed all day today. 3 degrees F tonight.)

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Great shots, Stig. I, too, have never understood the appeal of cold weather or ice fishing. Guess those people haven't figured out scooters yet!  ;)
