...unless youi're having problems keeping your scoot running at idle...there is really no worries...since carburetor adjustments only effect your engine at idle, and just off idle...1.5-2 turns counter-clockwise is about the standard...

I would agree. I have found the easiest way to do it is to set both the idle and mixture screws at 2 turns out. Then adjust the idle screw first. Then once you have the idle set, fine tune the mix so the 0-1/4 throttle snap is nice and responsive.
