Slinger and I know NC laws too well. I do have a good lawyer though.  ;)

Maybe I should provide a slightly more polite response. I have considered all of my options and I do not regret my choices... Yeah that's better.  ;D

I really am not that sour about my experience with my scoot. I've learned a lot. That will last a long time.'

For the record, I have never thought it was a good idea to buy a large scooter. I don't think I ever will.  :)

Not what are the consequences. What crime specifically? DWI? DWLR? Operating a motor vehicle on public roads with no insurance, registration, or inspection? All of the above listed by the largest maximum penalty first? If you really think it is going to help I will be happy to elaborate. I have my doubts. People are going to do what they want to do if you ask me. I've tried to help people. My experience is they typically don't listen.

Oh, and I ordered a hone and some bore T-gauges today. I figure we'll be on page 5 before I actually get around to working on the thing.  ;D
