If you have a smartphone you can use a GPS ap.  The two I use are  DigiHUD and Ulysse Speedometer.  The phone mount is X-grip by Ram Mount.

Normal is boring.

Checked my speed-o on my 2012 x-500. First # is speed-o, second GPS
30-27
35-33
45-44
55-53
60-58
70-68
75-74           Not too far off, my 2007 was way off.
