Gas is evaporating or leaking
« on: March 31, 2014, 01:20:55 PM »
I parked my KYMCO Agility 50 in an unheated garage (with plenty of openings for the wind to enter) over the winter with a full tank of gas including stabilizer. When I returned 4 months later, the gas tank was empty. I filled it with gas and everything ran fine. Did the gas evaporate over the winter or do I have a leak?  Where should I look?
Thank you.

You should check the oil in the engine.  It can happen that the gas leaks through the carbs into the engine.
That is not good.

I will not have access to the bike for another week. At that time I will check the oil. Thanks for the advice.

The scooter has been in a locked garage all winter. No one had access to it and no one took it for a ride.
