People S 250 Light bulb sizes
« on: March 31, 2014, 01:28:01 PM »
Hey Kids I was hoping that someone might be able to answer this.

I am looking for equivalent bulb sizes or numbers for the turn front and rear and the stop turn lamps such as (1157) or whatever.  I have tried several avenues which so far have not panned out.   I am trying to relamp the scooter with led's and I need the standard numbers.    Thanks for your help   Jim.

If the bulb is dual filiment then its normally 1157, single is 1156, if you go to leds on the tial light get one that is wide angle because leds are very directional, and led blinkers will require a mod to the blinker circut becuase the resistance in the bulb is lower on leds and will cause rapid flashing rather than the metered signal flashes.

Aw crap I was hoping that the front winkers would tolerate just the LED lamps with out having to put a resistor in line.  Oh well I will let you know how it turns out.   Jim.
