When the pad material on the clutch pads get's worn down to the spec limits, it's time to change the clutch. I would recommend a new clutch spring at the same time. I have over 50,000 miles on my original clutch, and it still looks fine, but all I do is tour. I think the clutch and spring will cost about $60.00?
