New windscreen
« on: April 23, 2014, 04:17:38 PM »
Hello all, Here is a photo of my new Puig windscreen. I purchased it from Amazon: it was designed for the European Like 50-125 but of course fits the 200i just fine. ;)

Big B that's a nice looking scoot!
I was thinking about you guys with your screens this morning - low 30's - even at 35MPH after an hour that gets cool.
Since I ride in the rain to & from work - combined with the dark and oncoming lights - one more thing to be trying to look thru doesn't seem like the way to go for me. Stopping at lights would get my face sheild wet, then I'd have 2 wet plastic things to look through. But I understand why so many folks get a screen.
It's not my idea of a scooter look though - plus I kinda like the wind - keeps me from daydreaming too much?
Nice job on the install. Are you having that head light glare issue that some folks mention?

Hi Stig, I have not had a chance to ride at night since installing so I'm not sure. The thing that got me interested in a windscreen again is all the left over gravel from snow treatment here in Oregon. I was getting a lot of grit in under my face shield and I'm hoping it will help with that. So far I do like the wind protection to my chest.
