What is your OTD Price on the Agility 125?
« on: April 23, 2014, 11:20:39 PM »
Hello all,

New to the forum here and currently shopping for a Kymco Agility 125 in California. The MSRP here is $1,899. I have checked out 1 shop so far and they are asking for $2,800 OTD... I will continue checking other places and also I am paying the scooter in full (cash). So, I don't see why I would buy this scooter for $2,800. Any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I'd wear out the phone giving folks a call for a couple hundred mile radius, "What's your out the door price?"
Friend of my son found a new, in crate, with color choice, CBR250R Honda for $800 less than the locals - it's a 4hour ride to pick it up. The kid will be smiling all the way home & enjoying a wonderful ride!
Well worth it to keep looking - and , all things being equal with the dealers - always get at least 2 dealers bidding for your$$.
It comes with a 2  yr warranty that must be honored by any KYMCO dealer.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

If you are not dead set on a 2014 model, you may check if they have any of last year's models left in stock. A lot of dealers will cut deals on the new-old-stock bikes. And, they are still new bikes, and still come with full warranty.
I got my 2012 Super8 this year and they knocked off ALL the dealer fees, just to make room for new ones on their showroom.

Exactly,  I just picked up two 0 mile 2012 Agility's for $3,300. $1,445 per scooter and then the rest was tax title and licensing.  I think maybe a $130 filing fee too.  They come with the same 2 year warranty as a 2014.

Update: I found a dealer that is willing to do $2,100 OTD in California. That is not bad but will see how much I can budge.

I got mine for 2300 OTD. If I would have lied or haggled maybe I would have gotten away with 2200 or less? But I am scared to do that stuff so my intimidation cost me. No more. In the future I will be firm. Anyhoo- motorcycles/scoots can be expensive in florida......I'd say 2300 is about average here. For every state the average is different however 2800 is definitely too high and I would not ever do business with that dealer as he seems like a shark.

Heres how my bill of sale reads for a 2013 kymco agility 50. I know its not the 125 but its gotta be close?  *Base price: $1301.64  *Freight: $200  *Set up & prep: $125  *Sales tax: $113.86  *Document Fee: $99  *Cash Price: $1840
ootd final. So id say expect at least $500-$600 if not $700+ price of a125. Have no clue though... :-[
