CHeck your variator drive boss...When cutting the cdi, the variator boss should be changed...

..the stock boss has a limiting bushing...

..also check your variator rollers..replace them if significantly worn, or upgrade to a new variator...

..check the condition of your drive belt..if it's worn, replace it!...mine broke at 32,000 km..dont push it that far...

..make sure you have a clean air filter..upgrade to a high flow if you want, but that generally requires re-jetting your carburetor..

..speaking of carbs..check your main jet..should be an 85 if you're derestricted..

..my 08 Agility 50 runs well with the stock air box and an 85 jet...

..these are a few things to get you started...scour this forum for lots of good info and "how tos"...

..the exhaust upgrade would likely require some carb tuning also...I dunno about the 125 carb...

..variator rollers aren't too expensive, and the benefit is substantial, if the old ones are worn..

..There is a link to the Agility 50 Service Manual in this board somewhere..

..That's a "MUST HAVE" for anyone that plans on doing there own service and upkeep..

England123-  Why do you want to make the scoot louder?  ???  I don't know about drilling holes either, but I'm sure i'd work.  If you upgrade to a high flow air filter and exhaust it should be quite a bit louder.  You could always just cut off the silencer part of the stock exhaust and just run the straight pipe too!
