Italian details on the LIKE design

While I think that the Italians have crafted a very pretty scooter in the new Vespa fleet line...with its smooth flowing contours...minimalist lines, etc. I kinda like the busy details drawn by the Italian fellow for these LIKE's. I set my timer for this very early morning photo and put the camera on a bench. Might be hard to distinguish here after TinyPic gets done with it - but the focus and color of light was very different here. My fave shaped scoots are the Yamaha Vino and the Honda Metropolitan....and maybe that new little Kymco Compagno...but I think that one missed the mark - design wise.
 
Anyone have any service or long-term report items to share here? Things have been pretty quiet lately.
I thought I was going to put in my new brake pads to try to clear up a grabbing brake symptom....but I green-scrubbied  both discs briskly, and x 2, and the smooth braking to a stop returned. So, new pads stay in their bags.

Very nice Stig. I 100% agree on the Italian designs. They always have had "clean" down pat.

I found a neat way to restore glazed pads, and rotors as well. I use 400 grit emory paper, and slide it between the pad, and the rotor. By spinning the wheel you can clean up the glaze on the rotor, and reversing the paper for a back, and forth over the pads. Nothing to take apart
