It's cheaper, and easier to have the seat modified at any auto/marine upholstery shop.

Or buy the Captain's Seat.  Just over $200.  I've had mine for 2 or 3 years and it's really nice.  If you can't find it,  I'll try to remember the Scooter Shop in Cleveland,  Ohio.

The scoot is a 2009 Kymco Grandvista 250cc with 7200 miles. They are asking $2999. Is this good or bad?

2999.00 seems high. I just bought a 2009 kymco grandvista with 904 miles on it for 2400.00 even. Blue book is 2660 for my unit.

I agree.  I got my 2005 in 2011 (6 yrs old, from the 2nd owner) with 2,600 miles for $2000.  Stored outside so some sun fade.
