Bleed oilpump Super 9
« on: May 07, 2014, 03:24:18 PM »
Now I finally got the oil pump and installed it today. But wondering if I bleed the system properly.
Followed the service manual from Kymco.

I fill the oil pump with oil, place on the main hose and start the moped.
It drips out the other side. Should it just drip or shall it flow a lot?

I'm not sure if the oil pump is properly in order.
When I bled the system so drypte the oil.
But when I'm driving now so decreases almost no oil at all.

How much oil is there it should use normal?

It takes me forever to use the oil in the tank, id say probably 10 or so tanks of fuel before the light comes on.

Think about each stroke of the piston... It uses a MIST of fuel per. That mist will contain between 100:1 or 50:1 fuel/oil ratio.
