2013 GTi 300 impressions after one riding season

Just turned over 6000 miles on my GT yesterday. Came home, changed the oil and filter and cleaned bugs off.
Installed an Iridium spark plug.
Ready to ride.
For those interested, thought I would give my impressions of this scoot after one riding season and 6000 miles.

things I like:

good power, especially at one up but, does just fine with two
suspension surprisingly good for a scoot
step through floor
top box is real handy
audible turn signal beep - nice
a joy to ride
would I buy another YES

things that need changing or improved:

option to set clock to am/pm
brake fluid reservoir caps should be exposed for ease of maintenance
(seat) makes your butt hurt after hours of riding.

It is easy to fill or bleed brakes on my wifes Aprilia.


Overall a very nice motor scooter.

Overall a very nice motor scooter.

Amen about the exposed brake fluid reservoirs - seen lots of scoots with that design - and it looks good! Kymco, pay attention here! If a $25,000 Ducati can have them sitting out in the open.....

How is your rear tire wearing at 6000 miles.

It is wearing even. Looks to be about 50-60% gone.
I have done a couple of high speed runs but most of the time, I ride easy.
No chicken strips.
When it is time to buy new, I`m planning on CityGrips. $150. for the rear installed, ouch!.
