Battery Details for 2004 P150
« on: May 19, 2014, 03:59:22 AM »
Have a feeling that my battery might of died as nothing happened when I turned the key this afternoon.

Anyway, doing some research on a replacement battery and as you all probably know these parts have crazy ID#'s.

I believe I'm looking for a 12 Volt battery and I've heard Yuasa makes a reputable product.

That being said, it appears that these 12V Batteries come in multiple sizes/shapes.

Anyone know a specific Battery Model # that is a good choice for a 2004 P150?

Thanks in advance..

J.

Yuasa's chart does not go back to 04 for Kymco, for an 09 People S 150 they have this battery as the one needed YTX7A-BS. If nothing changed between 04 and 09 then you are good to go.

I have an '05 People 150 and I purchased a Yuasa YTX7A-BS battery for it a few months ago and it fit perfectly and works great.  Here is a link to where I ordered it from (although it was cheaper back in November): http://www.bigbadpowersports.com/yuasa-grt-ytz-sealed-battery-ytx7a-bs-5-7-8-x-3-7-16-x-3-3-4-inches-yuam32x7a-49-1956.html
Good luck! ;)
