the rubber seal dies from ethenal. get a neoprene seal for the alum. bottle  it looks like it is plastic should be OK.

i have bought and installed Dr Puley rollers, the rpm during max acceleration increased from 5800-6000 to cca 6700rpm. Scooter has much better acceleration.
rpm during high speeds remain the same 100kmh-6000rpm, 110kmh-6500, 120kmh-7000rpm......
I reccomend to install it, good price/performance ratio.

Finally gave her a bath.  Couldn't wash her because it has been raining so much.  On the Dr. Puley rollers which ones did you use?

  went to Massena NY. today , A good time to try for my high milage,  one tank of 91  gas   0 ethenal,  spare tank on board,. and I hit 403.4 km.,,fill up took 12.686 liters, the last bar stops flashing about 8 km. before empty,.  I fill up just over the steel bar,.  never park it when it is full like that,    ride for 15 or 20 km.

So finally had time to give her a proper wash, waxed and sealed with Dodo Juice Supernatural Hybrid on the paint, Mothers Protectant on the black plastics.

  I went on a little ride today, finished off the gas in tank, total km. 410.6 km. that is 99 % country riding, between 50 MPH.  and 60 MPH.       and there is some gas left, did not run dry,   fill up was 12.746 liters, only fumes left I think,.  the last bar blinked at 346km. it disapeared at 398 km. with only gas sign showing I got to 410.6 km. still running and I gased up.,   going to try a run at 6,000 rpm.  =70 mph.,  to see how many km., I can do,.  will do that on the 401 high way

Have you changed anything on your ignition system or air filter, mixture ratio? Anything that would help you achieve this high mileage? Amazing results!

  I have a DNA filter ,  and a modified variator ( extended slide for the sliders)  home made !,  and the biggest thing is control of my right hand on the throttle,.  no fast take off,  and 99 % farm road riding, very few stops, going to try the super slab at 70 to 80 mph.  thats at 6,000 rpm.,  with my variator,

  I did my tank of gas,  finished in Hudson Que. , 360.5 km.  at 6,000 RPM.  ave. 70 MPH.It started to miss fire at 359 Km.  as I was pulling in to the gas Stn.  I did not have to use my gas tank,  in the top box,.  rode home at 55 to 60 MPH.  186 Km.s  at 55 RPM.  nice day but it was cool riding,.

My battery died completely two days ago, got me stranded 1 mile from home. Nice adventure pushing 200kg scoot up and downhill...
So I got a new lithium one.
Had to reset speedometer arm since it was stuck at 40mph.
Did the "remove positive wire from battery + terminal (with ignition OFF at all time!), short positive wire lead to mass/negative to drain capacitors in computer" trick I read here earlier and it worked. I have put back positive lead to battery + terminal and with the next ignition on/turn key everything went back to normal.

I got this belt from my friend's DT300i. 35000km in it, the vario, and the clutch are in good shape.
He is useing the bike for a month... Interesting to see how durable is the system with a "half"belt...

  300i downtown  did a oil change and clean my DNA air filter,  checked the clutch, and the variator, cleaned up every thing and went for a ride ,clutch is smoother, from cleaning,  was starting to grab,on take off,

Had a puncture on the way home , lucky i felt the bike's handling went squishy and soft about a few hundred meters from home.

Purchased a plug kit and plugged it up. Now will monitor over the weekend if it is developing a slow leak or the plug kit worked.

In the mean time, I guess a new rear tire is due as I've already reached the wear indicator.
