Best pics for the head light unit and it's connectors and wiring are from a service manual. I have the Cyclepedia Service manual.

Just your ordinary "Napoleon" style bar end mirrors, from Bike Master.

Man,  looking at that seat.....seems to be another one of those scooters that will either fit the rider....or it won't. A bench seat is so much more accommodating.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

The seat to floor board measurement is the biggest complaint on this scooter. I would think it's near the same as the X-Town 300. I have a short inseam with my 6 ft height so it's OK for me. Plus my rides are not that long, and when I do take a longer ride I stop a lot. This scooter sat for over 6 months at the dealer. I got it out for a couple test rides, and the price got lowered. I'm really happy with the Downtown.

Jealous of your lack of traffic...
2014 BV 350  "IndiGO" (fast, strong and tireless)
2006 Honda Rebel 250  "Snow Leopard" (stealthy, agile and durable)
2018 Lance Cali Classic 200i  "Black Panther" (smooth, nimble, quiet and quick)
2016 Wolf V-50 (sold)

Wanted a Kymco, ended up w a Lance, but that forum is inactive, so I am here

Actually the main highway, just one, is busy, all the tourists and drivers wanting to get to their destination faster, has lots of traffic. It will not change as we have the water on one side and a National Park on the other. Riding decisions are, do I travel east or west. More or less.

Sorry to hear that, but not surprised.  Things often are not as good as they appear.

I was driving my VW heading west  across some western state, and I was on a divided interstate highway which was one lane in each direction. One! @1973.

The nice thing about the alternate routes here is that they are not obvious and they really take much longer and slower roads that you need to know where they route you. And yes local traffic is not in a hurry and respects the bicycle rider and walker. Perfect for the scooter of all sizes.

Checked on the cvt to see how belt is wearing. Measured when I got it at 24 mm with 1820 miles today at 4440 miles it still measures 24 mm. Belt looks like new. Variators look good. My rpm and speed no changes also. Just may have to hang onto this Kymco.
