GPS installed / Speedometer dead on
« on: May 21, 2014, 01:40:02 PM »
I finally got around to installing my GPS on my scoot. I drilled two small holes in the stock  wind deflector(?) and mounted it right there. I can still see my stock gauges and it is protected by my Biondi windshield. I'm also happy to say that my stock speedometer is now dead on correct. I put new Michelin City Grips on and changed the front tire from a 110 to a 120. The slightly larger diameter corrected my slightly optimistic speedometer. It's now GPS verified up to 70mph. That's as fast as I usually go.

I tried to upload a picture, but my files are always too large. Just E-mail me if you want to see how I mounted it.
