Set the alarm for 4:45 0'Dark on Memorial Day.....
I really can recommend early morning scooter rides. Sure, there are deer around - but ride 25MPH and share the morning with them. I also went downtown through the parade route, just me and a few folks setting out their lawn chairs on the curb. Parade was hours away. I'm in a small town - but we have one of the biggest Memorial Day parades in the state.
