Your own common sense will prevent any over running on the engine. The restrictions are only there so the scoot will meet the import laws in certan countries, like the US. A 50 cc scooter does not require a drivers liscence in MOST states with the condition being they are not allowed to exceed 35 mph. the restrictions on the engine are there for this reason alone

i stupidly tried to derestrict my cdi on my agility rs. it now does not start and if by chance it does it will not run. i have searched everywhere for a new one but everywhere only has the cdi for the normal agility which is different to mine. can any help or supply one for me.

..I think there might be a different method of de-restricting that cdi...

..different than the ol' hacksaw cut thing...

..your dealer should certainly be able to get you one though...
