My Like has gone to a new home.
« on: June 07, 2014, 05:14:46 PM »
Yesterday, with great sadness, my beloved Like went off to live with a new family. The girl who will own it is a 16 year old who I hope will at least take care of it. Her father was not to thrilled about paying $2000 for it with only 1500 miles which I think is a damn good price for them. He didn't seem like he cared much about it. He kinda threw it in the back of his truck and didn't tie it down very well. But oh well, I hope it works out for her.
Now im off to order a brand spanking new People GT300i. I have to say thanks to my fellow Like owners here for all the great info.  It has really helped a great deal over the months I owned mine.

   Ride safe everyone, mscmkr

Hey thanks guys! I just ordered my new GT300i and got extremely lucky. The guy at the shop called his rep and found they had 1 gold GT left that is a 2013. This means incentives and a much cheaper price. Out the door it was $5400. This saved me about $600 over the 2014. They also threw in a used windshield installed. Funny, the rep said they have not received the shipment of 2014's yet and it would take a couple months for one of those. I'm pretty happy, makes room to afford some saddlebags for overnight trips which I plan to take now.

Hope everyone has a great day and ride safe, mscmkr

The GT300 is my goal for sometime next year hopefully.

I pick up my GT this Saturday. Can the days go slower. Dang! I may drive over to the dealer today. They said it should be in today and I would love to see them open the crate for the first time and see how they look before assembly.

Have a great one and ride safe, mscmkr
