I'm a HiVis guy, just don't let wearing it fool you. In march I was on the below scoot with the below gear on.

The first thing the woman who t-boned me said?
I never saw you.....really! A yellow trike the size of a small car and the day-glo costume and she never saw me. It wasn't the HiVis that helped it was the armored jacket, Kevlar jeans boots and hat.

I still wear all yellow but more important I still dress for the fall I survive.

Isn't it ironic that this is called 'adult language'. I've never met an genuine adult that used this kind of language - except a fellow soldier drawing hostile fire pay.
It is possible to make this point....without using language like a couple of 8th grade girls sitting in the back of the bus.

:-[  I agree with Stig, the only thing I disliked about the video was the language. The video would have been much better without the so called adult language.

Guys, I can relate to this video.

I was in my car driving to work some seven months ago and I did hit a pedestrian. This was at 6:30 in the morning and it was completely dark out. I never saw the pedestrian. Guess what the teenager was wearing? You guessed it. He was wearing all black. The kid was in the crosswalk, but his head was down and he was wearing ear buds. The police investigated and did not charge me. Even the detective said he did not want to give me a traffic ticket. Of course I am sorry for what happen. The kid did make a full recovery and he moved out of Nevada to Idaho. Even when I am driving at night, I admit we do not see those who are riding scooters since they do not wear any kind of reflective clothing.

I'm pretty sure I almost run into that same kid every morning on my way to school here in Idaho...oh, wait, they are ALL dressed that way when waiting for the bus in the darkness. ;-)

I think that young lady has already laid down that scooter......there's very little of her riding gear remaining. Poor thing.....

Scooter looks the be in a state of Nirvana though.

Actually, saw two young girls on one scooter on Main Street the other day in tank tops and hot shorts riding with open face black helmets. Neither looked above 16.

Had 2 people pulled out on me yesterday day after a month on no issues, when it rains it pours. Both pulled right out on me not just creeping out. Always try and give myself buffer room like that Australian motorcycle instructor on youtube suggests.

I used to snow ski several days a week for several years. Anyone that skies knows what happens when a learner crashes. Ski sh** all over the mountain. Goggles here, a ski there, hat in a tree, mittens about 50 yards apart. Can't even find one pole...

I am ALWAYS happy to help gather it all up, and head down to the lodge for a cocktail.

She can have my cocktail. She probably wouldn't want it cause she looks like she's enjoying all the attention.
