Help starting 2007 people s 50 4t
« on: June 29, 2014, 03:20:06 PM »
Hi All,
I'm new to the forum and also a brand new scooter owner.  I'm a bit of a beginner when it comes to amateur mechanic-ing, having had no experience with scooters and just basic stuff on the cars that I've owned.  But I bought this scoot being eager to learn.  Things have just gotten started a bit sooner than I expected, as I can't get my scooter started.

This may be a case of simply needing a new battery.  The battery certainly seems dead, since I'm not getting any display in the instrument panel when I turn the key to on.  However, when I tried to kickstart the scoot (this was my first attempt to kick start it), I couldn't get anything to happen.  It didn't really even sound like the engine was beginning to turn over.

Could this be caused by the battery being dead?  I would have thought that the kickstart would work even if the battery died, but perhaps I'm wrong about this.

Any advice would be appreciated.  Also, from browsing this forum, it seems like some of you may have access to the service manual for this scooter.  I would love to get that from you if you have it and are willing to share.

Hi Friend, when battery is full death you will not start engine, because not energy for ignition coil. Buy new battery an all will by OK :) I have manuals but tell me how I send you :)
