Is that the correct bulb wattage? Anyone have a part# to go by when buying the bulb? There's too many kinds to just guess at it. TIA.
Yep, I stuck a camera down there and took a picture of the bulb holder on the LIKE..."12V 3W" is printed on the holder. The type of bulb is a 'wedge bulb'. You just push it in.
I could not find an amber one , so I have been running a 12V 5W amber wedge bulb in there for a year with no problems.

I know a lot of folks are running LEDs up there, but my bulb is plenty bright, with a classic "cycle coming at you" look. White headlight, ambers on each side of it.
